Corporate Director of Human Resources - Senior Living
SRG Senior Living, a nationally recognized developer and operator of luxury senior living retirement communities, is seeking an organized, energetic and solutions-oriented Corporate Director of Human Resources at our corporate office in Solana Beach, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the employer/employee relationships as well as assuring the compliance of Human Resources policies and procedures both at the corporate and community level. This dynamic professional will possess innate leadership qualities, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, be passionate about the senior living field and equally invested in the future of our company and development of our employees.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Formulates and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives at corporate and community levels and ensures implementation and adherence throughout the organization.
•Assists communities with Human Resources endeavors, acting as a resource to them for proper compliance.
•Supports management by analyzing applications and information and providing counsel and advice
•Comply with local, state, and federal legal requirements by studying new legislation and advising management on necessary actions
•Exhibits a sales mentality with ability to be able to convey company culture and passion to recruits, new hires and even seasoned employees.
•Oversees orientation programs and assures consistency from community to community and adherence to company policies.
•Administers all company benefit programs including 401K, medical/dental/vision insurance, disability, etc.
•Serves on the Human Resources Organization Committee and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives to comply with local, state, and federal legal requirements and new legislation.
•Audits HR practices, employee files, policies and procedures to assure compliance.
•Assists with payroll related functions including processing and assuring accuracy of reports.
•Supports recruiting and placement efforts and maintains programs that promote high employee morale and low employee turnover.

Requirements and Qualifications:
•College degree or equivalent advanced training/experience/professional courses.
•5+ years of relevant human resources management experience
•Computer literate, tech-savvy and comfortable using employee engagement software
•Natural leader with proven management skills
•Ability to handle sensitive information and respond appropriately.
•Excellent recordkeeping skills, ability to meet deadlines, master of time efficiency and attention to detail
•Familiar with OSHA, EEO, Labor market, Wage and Hour regulations, licensing requirements and governmental reporting related to Human Resources documentation and training.
•Comfortable with some travel to communities
