The Office Manager is a key member and contributor to the success of the Practice. This position is responsible for guiding the dental practice team to achievement of productivity, financial and patient satisfaction goals. Through management of revenues, front office procedures and practices, marketing and promotional programs, team development and patient relations, this is a pivotal position that requires organization, positive interactions, willingness to assist with and/or direct a variety of responsibilities in the dental office, and excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
Achieves revenue goals by effectively managing patient scheduling, staff productivity, collections and receivables, specialty referral process, and miscellaneous operations expenses
Ensures a smooth continuity of patient care throughout all phases of treatment
Manages office within budget guidelines to include clerical and auxiliary supply purchases, equipment upgrades, labs and labor costs
Increases and stimulates new patient growth by supporting sales, marketing and promotional programs
Responsible for recruitment, training, on-boarding, team development, retention, and performance management
Manages Staff Schedule
Communicates with office teams regularly to ensure they have the information, tools, and support needed to perform their jobs effectively and successfully
Completes administrative tasks, such as bank deposits, revenue posting, staff payroll and bonus, accounts receivable reports and invoice processing to meet deadlines
Manages and assists designated office team members with appropriate payment and insurance processes
Ensures flawless execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies, procedures, and government regulations
Communicates effectively with Sleep Team to provide high quality patient care
Responds to doctor, patient and employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries and seeks assistance when necessary
Manages Whole Office and facilitates communication between team members
Strong capability with Microsoft Office applications
Dental Office Management experience
Open Dental experience preferred; Dentrix and or Eaglesoft experience acceptable

Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) as required for computer software programs and the observation of subordinates’ work quality.
Minimum lifting requirements of 35 pounds in order to accept equipment deliveries, and pack and unpack office supplies.
